I'm not a fan of this style since it makes it possible to mess up the cast (whereas &a.atom always has the right type), but the compiler gets confused about the valid memory bounds otherwise, and it's equivalent anyway.

Similar to the previous commit, this was non-standard and caused documentation issues. With this commit, the data structures index page looks as expected. Unlike the previous commit, though, these names are actually needed because the struct definition refers to itself.
